Makhinik Village is one of the most distinguished village in Iran which is located in southern Khorasan province. Makhunik Village can be so fascinating due to its astonishing architecture and the villagers.
It is believed that in the past the village was inhabited by dwarfs being 60 centimeters shorter than the average people living then.
But nowadays just a few numbers of those people are alive.

The village is perfectly reachable 75 km west of the border of Afghanistan, in southern Khorasan, near Sarbisheh situated in a rural district called Doreh and 143 km away from Birjand.
The village dates back to 1500 years ago and at the first sight will attract you by its beautiful, mesmerizing and strange views.
