Sitting on the end of Kavir desert in central part of Iran, National park offers the viewers a conservative area covering 4000 square kilometers. The area is located 120 kilometers away from south of Tehran.
Consisting of steppes and desert, the area provides you with a great interesting wildlife.
Outside the park on the border, lies salt lake or Namak lake which can be attractive to visit too. Kavir National park is the house of Persian wild-ass, Asiatic Cheetah, Sand cat, Caracal, Jebeer Gazell, Wild sheep and some other endangered species.
In order to reach the park, one needs to travel to Semnan a province in central part of Iran.
